Description

Finca Las Pampas is located on the slopes of the “Cerro de Apaneca” which is located in the municipality of Apaneca, in the department of Ahuachapan . This area is known for having one of the most fertile soils of the Apaneca-Ilamatepec mountain range. Las Pampas and it’s surrounding land actually replaced the indigo plantations, which made it one of the first coffee plantations in El Salvador. The Magaña Menendez family acquired this land in the 1900s. The farm was purchased to unite the farms of the Magaña and the Menendez family when they married.
